Lundgren, Henriksen To Guest On CW’s DC Shows

It was The CW’s turn at the Television Critics Association press tour today with network president Mark Pedowitz offering updates on a range of shows.

First up, action legend Dolph Lundgren is set to guest star on “Arrow” for the Russian-set flashback sequences this season. Executive producer Marc Guggenheim confirmed that this will be the final season of flashbacks in the series.

He isn’t the only one though. The one and only Lance Henriksen will take on the role of Obsidian in the second season of “DC’s Legends of Tomorrow”.

As for the other two CW DC shows? “Supergirl” will be bringing in Miss Martian (Sharon Leal ) and Mon-El (Chris Wood), while the new speedster villain for “The Flash” will be named Savitar.

Director Kevin Smith has also been confirmed to direct at least one episode of both shows this season, and both shows will crossover around episodes 13 and 14 of their respective series for a two-episode musical. Said musical will both utilise mostly pre-existing songs but should have at least one original song each.

All four of the shows are set to premiere this October. Will there be a fifth series? Pedowitz says no plans are there at present, but if a character on the current shows stands out enough that could change.
