The cinematic reboot of “The Crow” franchise has been in the works for a while, so long that attached star Luke Evans has allegedly had to turn down some high-profile offers due to his commitment to it. Yet, it seems the film is still stuck in development stages.
Doing press rounds for “The Hobbit: The Battle Of The Five Armies” this week, Evans was asked by Den of Geek how the film was progressing. His answer suggests he may have moved on due to scheduling issues:
“It’s not, no. No at the minute The Crow is not, not for me, I think it’s a little… I mean I’m sure it’s going to go ahead at some point, but I have other projects that are greenlit and ready to go and projects that I’m very interested in and you know, I can’t wait much longer! [laughs]”
Yesterday came word that Corin Hardy would be taking over for F. Javier Gutierrez as director of the film, however there’s still no indication of when the project could actually begin filming.
