“Luke Cage” Declares War In Final Trailer

We’re only a few days out from the debut of all thirteen episodes of “Marvel’s Luke Cage” on Netflix this Friday and the streaming giant has now unveiled the final trailer for the show – the third collaboration between Marvel and Netflix following “Daredevil” and “Jessica Jones”.

Cheo Hodari Coker (“Notorious,” “Southland”) serves as showrunner on this unapologetically black superhero story in which Mike Colter’s bulletproof Luke Cage goes back home to Harlem to rebuild his life and tries to break the stranglehold of the nefarious kingpin Cornell ‘Cottonmouth’ Stokes (Mahershala Ali).

Alfre Woodard, Simone Missick, Theo Rossi, Frank Whaley, and Rosario Dawson also star in the series which Coker has hinted might see Iron Fist teaming up with the character in a Heroes for Hire situation in the second season should it go forward.
