It took the internet by storm earlier this week, but Disney and Lucasfilm are reportedly most displeased with comedian Amy Schumer’s racy “Star Wars”-themed pictorial spread for GQ.
The photoshoot includes Amy fellating a lightsaber and the actress sharing some post-coital time with both R2-D2 and C3-PO. As of writing, the photoshoot is still available on GQ’s official site.
In a tweet posted yesterday afternoon on the official “Star Wars” account, it says Lucasfilm & Disney “didn’t approve, participate in or condone the inappropriate use of our characters in this manner.” The tweet also suggests they were unaware of the shoot ahead of its publication.
Schumer herself posed for the mag as part of her promotions for today’s release of her new comedy “Trainwreck”.
