“Love Actually” Sequel Short Begins Filming

Announced just the other week, filming is now underway on the ten-minute short film which serves as a sequel to the beloved 2003 holiday ensemble dramedy “Love Actually”.

The pictures were posted by the Red Nose Day Twitter account, the short film being made for the charity event by original writer/director Richard Curtis. Much of the key cast are back, and the shots today feature Liam Neeson and Thomas Brodie-Sangster’s Daniel and his stepson Sam back on that park bench.

Hugh Grant, Martine McCutcheon, Keira Knightley, Andrew Lincoln, Colin Firth, Lucia Moniz, Olivia Olson, Bill Nighy, Marcus Brigstocke, and Rowan Atkinson are all returning for the short which will air as part of the Red Nose Day Special in the United States on May 25th on NBC and March 24th on The BBC.
