Carrie Fisher’s daughter Billie Lourd is set to reprise two roles she recently played for upcoming projects.
First up, the actress herself has confirmed to Slashfilm that she will definitely appear in Rian Johnson’s “Star Wars: Episode VIII” and will have more screen time in the new film after admitting her appearance in “Star Wars: The Force Awakens” was “a little Where’s Waldo-y.”.
Next up, Lourd has been confirmed to return for FOX’s second season of its horror comedy “Scream Queens”. Co-stars Jamie Lee Curtis, Emma Roberts, Lea Michele, Niecy Nash, Keke Palmer and Abigail Breslin are all returning for the second season which will be set around a hospital.
In the new season, Curtis’ Dean Munsch has purchased a hospital and serves as its administrator. The girls will be medical students under the rule of Munsch and “three hunky doctors” says co-creator Brad Falchuk.
