The cost of a 30-second ad in the final two-hour episode of “Lost” is coming in around a whopping $900,000, according to media buyers says The Advertising Age.
To give you a comparison, the average cost of a spot during the high-profile Oscars broadcast for example is only slightly dearer at $1.3 million. A 30-second spot for “Lost” last season cost an average of $213,563.
That number is hardly the smallest for a series finale though. The “Seinfeld” finale sold 30-second spots for $1.4-1.8 million, while the “Friends” finale came in between $1.5-2.3 million.
