Long-running “Saturday Night Live” chief Lorne Michaels and his Broadway Video label have left Paramount Pictures after three decades, and have set up shop at Universal Pictures with a new first look deal.
The first film in that venture will be the original comedy “Baby Nurse” starring Leslie Jones and Colin Jost. Austin Winsberg penned the film about a special agent assigned to the most humbling undercover role in the history of the FBI.
Michaels will produce alongside executive producer Jost. Michaels has also renewed his television deals, including a new multiyear pact for SNL, and has extended his NBC primetime deal.
