London Has Fallen Delayed Two Months

Gramercy Pictures has announced that the upcoming action sequel “London Has Fallen” has been delayed by just over two months.

Originally slated for October 2nd this year, this follow-up to 2013’s “Olympus Has Fallen” will now open January 22nd next year. The announcement comes just days after Fox moved their buzzed about Ridley Scott sci-fi epic “The Martian” into the October 2nd slot.

The story begins after the British Prime Minister passes away. His funeral then becomes a target of a terrorist organization to destroy some of the world’s most powerful leaders, devastate the British capital, and unleash a terrifying vision of the future.

The only hope of stopping it rests on the shoulders of the President of the United States (Aaron Eckhart) and his formidable Secret Service head (Gerard Butler), and an English MI-6 agent (Charlotte Riley) who rightly trusts no one. Morgan Freeman, Angela Bassett, Melissa Leo, Radha Mitchell, Robert Forster, Jackie Earle Haley, Sean O’Bryan, Alon Aboutboul and Waleed Zuaiter also star.
