The Lindsay Lohan romantic comedy “Labor Pains” has been restarted at Nu Image/Millennium Films’s Overnight Productions says the trades.
Lohan plays an assistant, working in an uptight publishing house, who fakes a pregnancy to avoid her overbearing boss from sacking her. She not only gets to keep her job, but her luck also begins to change. Chris Parnell, Cheryl Hines, Luke Kirby and Connie Britton also star.
The project was put on hold recently due to the serious financial difficulties that Capitol Films has been facing – the same company behind David O. Russell’s “Nailed” which has been shut down three separate times during filming, but is still going forward with shooting to wrap in three weeks.
Lara Shapiro is directing from a scritp she co-wrote with Stacey Kramer, and shooting will take place in Burbank starting next week.
