Lodge 49 Cancelled After Two Seasons

AMC has cancelled its Wyatt Russell-led series “Lodge 49” after two seasons on the network. The series aired its second season finale two weeks ago with that now serving as the final.

Set in Long Beach, Russell played a disarmingly optimistic local ex-surfer who’s drifting after the death of his father and collapse of the family business. Dud found himself on the doorstep of a rundown fraternal lodge leading him on the path to recover the idyllic life he’s lost.

Sonya Cassidy, Brent Jennings, Linda Emond, David Pasquesi, Eric Allan Kramer, Avis-Marie Barnes, Njema Williams, and Jimmy Gonzales co-starred. Not a breakout series in its first season, the second season plummeted 40% in viewership – down to just 428,000 viewers per episode in the sophomore run.
