Lockerbie Air Disaster Film Planned

Amber Entertainment and Forecast Pictures are developing a drama centering on the death of the eldest child of Dr. Jim Swire.

Swire’s daughter Flora was one of the 259 people on board Pan Am Flight 103 from London to New York. The flight exploded over the Scottish town of Lockerbie in 1988 due to a terrorist bomb planted by two Libyan nationals.

The story will follow a father’s journey in search of truth to honor the memory of his daughter. Audrey O’reilly is attached to write the screenplay, while Jean Charles Levy, Ileen Maisel and Lawrence Elman will produce.
