Comedian Lisa Lampanelli has revealed she has been cast in “The Sopranos” creator David Chase’s highly anticipated film directorial debut “The Twylight Zones” for Paramount Vantage.
Lampanelli revealed the news while appearing on the Howard Stern Show (via /Film). Her role will be that of the mother of the main teenage male character which is said to be inspired by Chase’s own teenage years.
The story deals with a bunch of guys who form a rock band in the 1960s. John Magaro, Jack Huston, Will Brill and James Gandolfini have already been cast in the movie which is about to begin production in New York.
