Lionsgate Breaks Its Box-Office Records

Lionsgate has had a massive year at the box-office, pulling in $1.025 billion at the domestic box office and another $1.227 billion at the international box office.

Half of that $2.25 billion global total comes from the success of “The Hunger Games: Catching Fire” ($766M worldwide), and “Now You See Me ($236M worldwide).

Lionsgate has also achieved its best year ever in China, grabbing $116.3 million and 8% of the foreign film box office share.
