Linklater’s “Bernadette” Delayed Five Months

Trailer Blanchett In Linklaters Bernadette

Annapurna has pushed back the release of Richard Linklater’s new film “Where’d You Go, Bernadette?” by five months – taking it from March 22nd to an August 9th release.

The story follows the lives of one family after the odd disappearance of the agoraphobic architect, wife, and mother Bernadette Fox (Cate Blanchett) right before a holiday to Antarctica. Bee, Bernadette’s 15-year-old daughter, tries to piece together what happened to her mother.

Semple and Linklater worked on the script with Billy Crudup, Kristin Wiig, Judy Greer, Laurence Fishburne, and newcomer Emma Nelson co-starring.
