Conde Nast Entertainment and “Edge of Tomorrow” director Doug Liman are teaming up for “Invisible,” the first scripted virtual reality series to be produced. Liman will direct the project which is being written by Julina Tatlock and Melisa Wallack.
The story follows a prominent New York family with an unusual secret – a gene that gives them an ability to accumulate vast amounts of power and wealth, but one whose power is diminishing. The birth of an exceptional new child draws public interest and scrutiny.
The series will premiere on the Samsung Milk VR platform followed by Jaunt’s VR apps and companion content on CNE’s The Scene. Liman is currently in pre-production on the “X-Men” spinoff “Gambit” starring Channing Tatum.
