Lili Simmons Is Catwoman In Gotham Finale

Actress Camren Bicondova, who has portrayed Selina Kyle throughout the five season run of “Gotham,” has confirmed today that “Banshee” and “The Purge” actress Lili Simmons is taking over the role for the upcoming series finale which time jumps a full decade into the future.

Bicondova reveals in a long letter posted on social media that she made the decision herself and used the letter as both an announcement and a farewell to fans. She also confirms she consulted with Simmons about her role.

What’s not yet clear is if David Mazouz’s Bruce Wayne is also being recast with an older actor. By all indications, Wayne’s role in the finale is relatively minimal and FOX released photos from the episode yesterday (see below) with no sign of the actor or character.

Mazouz has previously said he participated in the show’s final table read and it has been confirmed Mazouz is definitely providing the voice of the suited up Batman (with some digital adjustments). The producers have also previously confirmed the episode has only one scene in the present timeline with the rest a decade in the future.

The final episode of “Gotham” airs this Thursday, April 25th.

Speaking of Bruce Wayne, a short set video has emerged of “Game of Thrones” actor Iain Glen playing the role in the currently filming second season of “Titans” for DC Universe.

The clip is brief and we only get a glimpse, but he’s seen walking down a manor hallway conversing with Dick Grayson (Brenton Thwaites).
