Liam Neeson will join the cast of the new Paul Haggis thriller “The Next Three Days” for Lionsgate says The Hollywood Reporter.
An adaptation of the 2008 French film “Pour Elle”, Russell Crowe will play a teacher whose wife (Elizabeth Banks) is arrested and convicted of a murder she says she did not commit.
He comes up with a desperate plan to free her. Neeson will cameo as a man who escaped from prison several times, wrote a book about the subject and gives advice to Crowe’s character.
Brian Dennehy, Lennie James, Olivia Wilde, Aisha Hinds, Daniel Stern, Jonathan Tucker, and RZA also star.
Shooting kicked off Friday in an around Pittsburgh last week. Neeson will shoot his scenes either during or right after he finishes work on the currently filming “The A-Team” movie in Vancouver.
