Damian Lewis, Luke Perry, Emile Hirsch, Dakota Fanning, Clifton Collins Jr. , Keith Jefferson and Nicholas Hammond have all scored key roles in Quentin Tarantino’s next feature “Once Upon a Time in Hollywood”.
Lewis will portray actor Steve McQueen, Fanning is Manson disciple Squeaky Fromme, Hirsch is hairstylist and victim Jay Sebring, Hammond is film director Sam Wanamaker, Perry is Scotty Lancer, Collins is Ernesto ‘The Mexican’ Vaquero and Keith Jefferson is Land Pirate Keith.
Set in Los Angeles in the summer of 1969, the story focuses on a male TV actor named Rick Dalton (Leonardo DiCaprio) who has had one hit western series and is looking for a way to get into the film business.
His sidekick Cliff Booth (Brad Pitt), also his stunt double, is looking for the same thing. The horrific murder of Rick’s neighbour Sharon Tate (Margot Robbie) and four of her friends by Charles Manson’s cult of followers serves as a backdrop to the main story.
Burt Reynolds, Timothy Olyphant, Michael Madsen and Tim Roth also star in the film which is currently being prepped in Los Angeles for Sony Pictures is slated for release on August 9th 2019.
