Jonathan Levine (“Warm Bodies”) is in early talks to direct the upcoming film which comedian Amy Schumer hopes to make as her follow-up to “Trainwreck”.
The project is a currently untitled mother-daughter relationship story that takes place on a vacation gone wrong. Katie Dippold penned the script inspired by her relationship with her mother.
Paul Feig’s Feigco and Chernin Entertainment will produce the film. Levine has also been keen on a narrative adaptation of the acclaimed doco “Brooklyn Castle”.
