Lena Headey Stuck In a “Safe House”

Lena Headey (“Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles”) and Michael Ironside (“Terminator Salvation”) are attached to the thriller “Safe House” for Spirit Pictures says Deadline.

The story follows a team of US Marshals charged with protecting a mob-trial witness and her teenage daughter who have relocated to an isolated compound high in the Californian Rockies. Despite its security, the compound’s past is steeped in mystery and violence.

Offers are also out to Kate Mara and Michael Trucco to play roles. Simon Hunter (“Mutant Chronicles”) will direct.

Andy Briggs (“Aquaman”) has written the screenplay and is also producing. Filming kicks off next March.
