LEGO Movie Sequel Delayed A Year

Warner Bros. Pictures has pushed back the release of “The LEGO Movie” sequel from May 18th 2018 to February 8th 2019 – nine months later than originally planned.

No reason has been revealed for the delay, but the studio is shuffling about its release schedule somewhat with both the Gerard Butler-led “Geostorm” setting an October 20th 2017 date, while the Ben Affleck-directed “Live By Night” opens January 13th 2017.

Warners has not moved the date of its “The LEGO Batman Movie” which remains on target for a May 2017 release.
