Warner Bros. Pictures has announced plans to hold one-day previews screening of “The LEGO Movie 2: The Second Part” in 500 theaters across North America on Saturday, January 26th.
Tickets will go on sale for the special advance screening on Wednesday, January 23rd at participating theaters and on regular online outlets.
The previews follow a successful similar scenario that the studio had with “Aquaman,” a film that has since gone on to make over $1 billion at the global box-office.
The new ‘LEGO’ film reunites the heroes of Bricksburg in an all-new action-packed adventure to save their beloved city. It’s been five years since everything was awesome and the citizens are facing a huge new threat: LEGO DUPLO invaders from outer space, wrecking everything faster than they can rebuild.
The film will open wide in cinemas on February 8th.
