“Legends” Unveils Vixen, “Flash” Gets Mirror Master

The last of the key villains for “The Flash” has finally been cast with “Aquarius” and “Friday Night Lights” actor Grey Damon taking on the role of the egotistical thief Sam Scudder, aka. Mirror Master, in the upcoming third season says CBR. In the comics, the character has the power to travel through any reflective surface.

The new season of the series kicks off with the ‘Flashpoint’ arc and The CW president Mark Pedowitz has revealed that the length of Barry’s journey into the alternate timeline is “only for a couple episodes before it comes back in”. It has also been revealed that, in addition to the four series crossover in December, both “Flash” and “Supergirl” will sport two musical crossover episodes in the back half of the season.

Meanwhile, a few months ago came word that Maisie Richardson-Sellers would take over from Megalyn Echikunwoke in the role of Vixen. Echikunwoke played the role of Mari McCabe/Vixen both in a CW Seed animated series, and in a key guest starring spot in “Arrow”.

However, the second season of “DC’s Legends of Tomorrow” sports an earlier incarnation of the character – Amaya Jiwe who is the grandmother of Echikunwoke’s Mari McCabe. Today, the first photo of Richardson-Sellers in costume has been revealed.

“The Flash” returns to screens on October 4th while “DC’s Legends of Tomorrow” is back on October 13th.
