Leatherface Gets Rebooted In 3D

John Luessenhop (“Takers”) is in talks to direct “Leatherface 3D”, a project which marks the second reboot of “The Texas Chainsaw Massacre” franchise at Lionsgate reports Bloody Disgusting.

Debra Sullivan, Adam Marcus and Stephen Susco are penning the project which sounds like it’s following the “Halloween: H20” mold.

The action “picks up immediately where Tobe Hooper’s original 1974 film left off then flashes forward 35 years”.

Whether this will tie-in with Platinum Dunes’ remake and its prequel is uncertain. The film would likely get a 2013 release.
