Lawrence, Spielberg Say “It’s What I Do”

Warner Bros. Pictures is closing a deal to produce a film adaptation of Lynsey Addario’s memoir “It’s What I Do: A Photographer’s Life Of Love And War”.

Steven Spielberg is attached to direct, Jennifer Lawrence to star and Andrew Lazar to produce the project which deals with a Pulitzer Prize-winning female journalist who goes into the most dangerous places in the world in search of truth.

She explored how Afghans suffered during the Taliban regime and covered the Iraqi War, Darfur victims, mass rape in the Congo, and the Libyan civil war during which she was kidnapped by pro-Quaddafi forces.

Warners appears to have beaten out a bunch of bidders for the project with other major names linked to those potential versions including Darren Aronofsky, George Clooney, Reese Witherspoon, Natalie Portman and Margot Robbie.
