“Last Jedi” TV Spot & Possible “Solo” Art?

We’ve yet to see any promotional artwork or stills for next year’s “Solo: A Star Wars Story” spin-off film, but an apparent new piece of tie-in merchandise for the Hawkins Theater chain in the United States may have provided just that.

Making Star Wars has posted a photo of a promotional cup sent to them by Twitter user Mike De Rose – one that features the faces of a bunch of characters from upcoming films including Zoe Saldana as Gamora for “Avengers: Infinity War,” Alicia Vikander as Lara Croft in “Tomb Raider,” Eddie Redmayne and Katherine Waterston as Newt Scamander and Tina Goldstein in “Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them 2” and Zazie Beetz as Domino alongside “Deadpool”.

The appearance is more that of concept art as opposed to a drawing of a specific photo, or potentially a mashup of an old Han Solo artwork with Ehrenrich’s head cut out from the cast shot announcing the start of production, but the Hawkins Theater wouldn’t be able to use trademarked characters like that on a promotional item without permission. The site also says this outfit is what Han Solo will be wearing in the third act of the movie, suggesting multiple looks in the spin-off.

“Solo: A Star Wars Story” opens in May next year, before that we’ll get “Star Wars: The Last Jedi” next month which just released a new Finn-centric TV spot which you can see below:
