Larson In, Holland Out Of “Avengers: Infinity War”?

Marvel Studios goes into production on “Avengers: Infinity War” and a fourth “Avengers” film in the next few weeks. The back-to-back shoot will take place across most of next year in Atlanta and is easily the company’s biggest projects to date.

The Russo Brothers are all set unite the MCU heroes together in a fight against Thanos (Josh Brolin) with the cast pretty much set. Now, a new open casting call which has gone up on MovieCastingCall.org has seemingly revealed that one key character you might not expect to appear yet is in it, while another may not be involved after all.

The list includes Brie Larson as both Carol Danvers and Captain Marvel which would seem to confirm that we’ll be introduced to her character in ‘Infinity War’ which will get a release long before the solo “Captain Marvel” film.

One notable absentee on the list though? The new Spider-Man Tom Holland. His non-appearance here is noticeable as basically everyone else is included on the cast list including the five key Guardians of the Galaxy cast members along with newer heroes played by Chadwick Boseman, Paul Rudd and Benedict Cumberbatch.

The two new “Avengers” films will score a release in May 2018 and May 2019.
