The decision was held back but now it’s official – the single-camera comedy “L.A. To Vegas” has been cancelled at FOX after one season.
The series was set aboard the fictional Jackpot Airlines and their weekend Los Angeles to Las Vegas flights. The first season drew an average of 2.3 million viewers and a 0.73 rating in the 18-49 demo.
Series star Amir Talai announced the cancellation on his Twitter account on Monday night. Kim Matula, Ed Weeks, Nathan Lee Graham, Olivia Macklin, Peter Stormare, Dylan McDermott and Talai co-starred.
Faring better, however, is “Step Up: High Water,” the dance drama series which has been renewed for a second season at YouTube Premium (formerly YouTube Red).
Naya Rivera and Faizon Love are set to return for the second season which will consist of 10 hour-long episodes and again focus on several ambitious young dancers in a contemporary performing arts school in Atlanta. Filming begins this Fall for a 2019 release.
