Charter Communications has officially given a thirteen-episode straight-to-series order to “L.A.’s Finest,” the TV series spinoff of the “Bad Boys” franchise starring Gabrielle Union and Jessica Alba.
The Spectrum network will be the exclusive premiere home of the character-driven drama series which hails from Sony Pictures TV, Jerry Bruckheimer Television, and 2.0 Entertainment.
Ernie Hudson, Zack Gilford, Duane Martin and Ryan McPartlin co-star in the series in which Union’s former DEA agent Syd Burnett has now become an LAPD detective and is paired with a new partner, a working mom (Alba) with a complex past.
Pam Veasey (“CSI: NY”) will serve as co-showrunner of the series and is executive producing Union, Alba, Brandon Margolis and Brandon Sonnier. The show premieres in 2019.
