“L.A. Law” Reboot Gets Redeveloped

20th Century Fox TV planned contemporary revival of the Emmy-winning 1980s NBC legal drama “L.A. Law” has joined The CW’s “The Lost Boys” and “Charmed” as a proposed series that will be redeveloped and won’t make it to air this year.

“L.A. Law” co-creator Steven Bochco and one of the series’ original writers, Billy Finkelstein, developed the new take in-house with the initial script tailored for broadcast. Now it will be reworked to also target cable and streaming networks.

Bochco and Finkelstein new incarnation is said to revolve around new characters, young lawyers, while also featuring several characters from the original series as bosses.
