“L.A. Law” creator Steven Bochco has revealed that he is working on a reboot of that most iconic of 1980s legal workplace dramas – “L.A. Law”.
Speaking on the Rich Eisen Show yesterday (via Variety, Bochco said that he has been asked frequently over the past two decades about such a prospect but has never been interested in doing so.
Then, four months ago, one of the show’s original writers Bill Finkelstein got in contact with an idea for a revamped take which show owners FOX were “very enthusiastic about doing it, so we’re developing.”
The original series ran on NBC from 1986 to 1994 and according to Bochco the new version could see some actors from the original series returning. Major cast members included Corbin Bernsen, Harry Hamlin, Jimmy Smits, Blair Underwood, Jill Eikenberry, Richard Dysart, Susan Ruttan and Diana Muldaur.
