Kyle Chandler (“Bloodline”) will join Millie Bobby Brown (“Stranger Things”) in Legendary and Warner Bros. Pictures’ “Godzilla: King of the Monsters”.
Chandler, who marks the second bit of casting for the sequel to the 2014 reboot, will play a scientist and father of Brown’s character. Michael Dougherty is directing from a script he co-wrote with Zach Shields.
The first film earned $529.1 million worldwide and served as the first film in a joint giant monster cinematic universe that continues with next month’s “Kong: Skull Island”.
“Godzilla: King of the Monsters” is slated for release on March 22nd 2019.
