Ryan Kwanten (“True Blood”) and Cory Hardrict (“American Sniper”) will join Sean Bean in Crackle’s upcoming drama series “The Oath” which is executive produced by Curtis ’50 Cent’ Jackson.
Former L.A. County Sheriff’s Deputy Joe Halpin created the ten-episode original series which explores a world of gangs made up of those sworn to protect and defend. It also sheds light on corrupt and secret societies that are nearly impossible to join.
Kwanten will play Steve Hammond, son of Tom Hammond (Bean) and the leader of cop gang The Ravens. A cool, pragmatic, strategic and reluctant leader, Hammond is a survivor.
Hardrict will play a paranoid cop raised by white foster parents and fueled by an intense dedication to protect the only family he has ever had. Jeff T. Thomas helms the pilot while Todd Hoffman and Dennis Kim serve as executive producers.
