Kureishi Pens “White Tiger” Adaptation

Hanif Kureishi (“My Son the Fanatic”) is set to pen the screen adaptation of “The White Tiger” for Smuggler Films and Ascension Entertainment says The Hollywood Reporter.

Aravind Adiga’s novel looks at India’s economic rise to power through the eyes of a young man from a poor, rural village.

The novel won the prestigious Man Booker Prize in Britain. No further details on production as yet are available.
