Krysten Ritter (“Breaking Bad,” “The Blacklist”) has scored the title role in Marvel’s “Jessica Jones,” the second of its four limited TV series to be produced for the streaming service Netflix.
Ritter will play a super heroinne suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder. Hanging up her costume and opening her own detective agency, she ends up helping people and assisting other superheroes.
Netflix and Marvel are committed to a thirteen episode series which will roll out either late 2015 or early 2016.
