Four more names have joined Quentin Tarantino’s WW2 caper epic “Inglorious Bastards” reports Variety.
Diane Kruger (“Troy,” “National Treasure”) will play Bridget Von Hammersmark, a haughty German film star who assists the Bastards on their mission behind enemy lines. Natassja Kinski was previously linked to the role.
Meanwhile German actor Christoph Waltz is set to play the film’s main villain – SS Colonel Hans Landa (the “Jew Hunter”), a role Leonardo DiCaprio was previously in talks for. Finally, Paul Rust (“Semi-Pro) and Daniel Bruhl (“The Bourne Ultimatum”) are also confirmed to have roles.
The quartet join Brad Pitt, Eli Roth, Mike Myers, Michael Fassbender, B.J. Novak and Samm Levine in the Weinstein Co./Universal drama which begins shooting October 13th in Germany.
