Kristen Stewart To Direct “Chronology Of Water”

Following her short film’s debut “Come Swim” at Cannes last year and then Sundance in January, actress Kristen Stewart is moving up in her directorial efforts with plans for a feature debut which aims to shoot this Summer.

Speaking with Indiewire at Cannes this week, Stewart says her first full film will be an adaptation of Lidia Yuknavitch’s 2011 memoir “The Chronology of Water” which Stewart says she also plans to write.

The story follows the extreme grief of a young woman’s developing sexuality that some define as untraditional because of her attraction to both men and women. The story deals with addiction, self-destruction and ultimately survival.
