Thomas Kretschmann and Benjamin Wadsworth have scored starring roles in the Jeff Davis-produced TNT drama pilot “Let the Right One In” which has been twice adapted into films.
Based on the best-selling novel by Swedish author John Ajvide Lindqvist, the eerie drama centers around Henry (Wadsworth), a shy teen who faces constant bullying from a trio of older kids. He becomes intrigued by his new neighbor, a girl named Eli (Kristine Froseth), unaware she is a vampire.
Kretschmann will play Inspector Eriksson, a foreign cop who partners up with the FBI in his hunt for Eli and her enabler for a decade. Davis wrote the script and serves as executive producer on the series.
