A day after comments by Jeff Bridges about the upcoming “Tron” sequel, AICN has interviewed the film’s director Joseph Kosinski and briefly touched upon the project.
First up, the Comic Con teaser which can still be found online was shot in stereoscopic 3D – as will the film.
Shooting on the project “will be a “twenty-four month” process, but Kosinski’s already been at it for a while now. He didn’t give me an exact date, but he seems confident that the movie could be ready for late 2010.”
The original film’s writer/director Steven Lisberger is involved as a consultant, and “Watchmen” costume designer Michael Wilkinson officially joins the production this week.
