Kodi Smit-McPhee Joins “Paranorman”

Rising young Australian actor Kodi Smit-McPhee (“The Road,” “Let Me In”) will provide the titular voice for the Laika Entertainment animated feature “Paranorman” reports STYD.

Smit-McPhee plays a boy named Norman who “can see ghosts and he saves the world from a zombie invasion” according to the actor.

Former storyboard artist Chris Butler has penned and will direct the feature which will get a 2013 release. Laika was responsible for last year’s acclaimed adaptation of Neil Gaiman’s “Coraline”.
