A controversial book about Princess Diana has lead to a major bidding war and Keira Knightley already being wooed to play the late Princess of Wales reports The Sun.
“Diana And The Paparazzi” tells her life story and focuses on her complicated relationship with photographers Glenn Harvey and Mark Saunders who took thousands of pictures of her over the years and penned the book.
The success of “The Queen” is seen as a major factor for this project being planned, however don’t expect anything as prestigious. The film’s producer Quentin Reynolds (“Evil Aliens”) talked up the project at Cannes and claims “For every pound The Queen makes, a film about Diana would make ten” (sigh, producers).
He does add though that the book is “An honest study of the relationship between the hunter and the hunted. People have never really understood how complex the situation was.”
