No-one is still quite sure what to expect from the upcoming two-film adaptation of Stephen King’s iconic novel “IT” as no trailer is out at this point for the R-rated adaptation.
King’s works have had a mixed reaction on screen – some are excellent screen adaptations, others are flat out terrible. King himself has expressed differing reactions to the various adaptations of this work that he sees.
Today comes word via producer Seth Grahame-Smith that King has seen the new “IT” and passed on a message:
“Steve asked me to pass along that he saw a screening of IT today and he wanted to let everybody know that they should stop worrying about it as the producers have done a wonderful job with the production.”
Production wrapped in September last year on the first part of “IT” which Andres Muschietti is helming and which is rumored to begin production shortly on the second film in Toronto. The first “IT” hit cinemas in September.
