“Killing Eve,” “Americans” Lead TCA Nominees

The Television Critics Association have announced this year’s nominees for the 34th Annual TCA Awards, the biggest TV series awards show outside of the Emmys & Golden Globes..

“Killing Eve” and “The Americans” lead the pack with five nominations each. Newcomers “Barry,” “The Assassination of Gianni Versace: American Crime Story” & “GLOW” will fight it out with returnees “The Handmaid’s Tale,” “The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel,” “The Good Place,” “Atlanta” and “This Is Us” for honors at the ceremony.

In all FX lead the networks with ten nominations to Netflix’s nine, NBC’s seven, HBO & BBC’s six, and PBS’ four. Robin Thede will host the invite-only ceremony, set for August 4th in Beverly Hills.
