Nicole Kidman is in advanced talks to join Elle Fanning (“Maleficent”), Ruth Wilson (“Luther”) and Matt Lucas (“Alice in Wonderland”) in John Cameron Mitchell’s anticipated rom-com “How to Talk to Girls at Parties” at See-Saw.
Based on Neil Gaiman’s short story, Fanning plays an alien touring the galaxy who breaks away from her group and meets two young inhabitants of the most dangerous place in the universe: the London suburb of Croydon.
Mitchell (“Hedwig and the Angry Inch”) and Philippa Goslett (“Little Ashes”) have worked on the screenplay and filming begins this Fall in the UK. Howard Gertler, Iain Canning and Emile Sherman will produce.
The production is also in talks with major musicians to score the film while some of the cast are also due to lend their voices to songs.
