Kevin Costner is set to star in the upcoming Paramount Network series “Yellowstone” which hails from “Hell or High Water” and “Sicario” scribe Taylor Sheridan who will write and direct.
The ten-episode first season follows the fictional Dutton family, which owns the largest contiguous ranch in the United States — a piece of property that borders Yellowstone National Park and puts the family in constant conflict with a wide range of rivals.
Costner will star as family patriarch John Dutton, his first regular role on a television series in his long career. John and Art Linson, Sheridan, Harvey Weinstein, and David Glasser will executive produce.
The project, the first scripted series greenlit for the Paramount Network, is slated to go into production this Fall and premiere in summer next year.
