Kenneth Branagh Heads To “Moscow”

Kenneth Branagh will star in and produce a TV adaptation of Amor Towles’ novel “A Gentleman in Moscow” with Tom Harper (“Peaky Blinders”) set to direct.

The story is set in Russia and spans three decades starting with the 1920s. Branagh plays Count Alexander Rostov, a man ordered to spend the rest of his life inside a luxury hotel.

eOne will produce but no broadcast platform partner has been announced for the project.
