Blumhouse has announced that their supernatural romance drama “The Keeping Hours” is skipping a theatrical run and will be released direct-to-VOD on July 24th and disc on August 7th via Universal Home Entertainment.
Lee Pace plays a successful attorney who returns to his old house after the current tennants have skipped out on rent. While there he experiences a supernatural event that forces him to reach out to his ex-wife (Carrie Coon) ten years after their son’s death.
Soon, a ghost helps reunite the estranged couple and deliver a message of life after death. Karen Moncrieff helmed the film while Jason Blum produced.
