Keanu Talks “Bill & Ted 3,” “Constantine 2”

Keanu Reeves’ low-budget, martial arts heavy directorial effort “Man of Tai Chi” has been a hit on video-on-demand services. Recently sitting down with Vanity Fair to discuss the film, the actor was asked about the current status of the third “Bill and Ted” movie which he has spoken of in recent months:

“Bill & Ted 3 is waiting for a rewrite from the writers, and we’re still trying to find a way to finance the film. We don’t have a director, we don’t have any money, so we’re trying to get a script. Maybe if we have a script, they will come, I don’t know.

It still has to come together. It has to find the right producer and director. I think they’ve created a story that is fun and funny and would be very surreal for me to play, so if everything comes together the right way it could be fun.”

He was also asked if there was any other character he’s played that he’d like to have another crack at. Turns out there is:

“I would like to have played John Constantine again. I liked playing that character and there seemed to be a way to continue that. That’s the only one that comes to mind.”
