Kat Coiro (“Life Happens,” “While We Were Here”) is set to direct “Here Lies Bridget”, an adaptation of the Paige Harbison novel for Galgos Entertainment reports Deadline.
The story follows narcissistic mean girl Bridget Duke who crashes her car and ends up in limbo. There she must confront the people she has bullied, degraded and belittled, all of whom must decide if she goes to heaven or hell
Meanwhile, Sony Pictures has bought Drew Pearce’s spec action/comedy script “Secretaries Day” and have attached Will Gluck (“Easy A,” “Friends with Benefits”) to direct and produce through his Olive Bridge Entertainment.
Pearce created the low-budget cult British comedy “No Heroics” and has recently scored impressive film writing gigs including “Iron Man 3” for Marvel Studios and a potential third “Sherlock Holmes” film for Warners.
